Inside, they have firm, fine-grained yellow flesh which is juicy.
The tree blossoms with pink flowers, and bears heavily every other year.
Beroni Apples are ready to pick starting in August, and into September.
They are good fresh-eating apples.
History Notes
Beroni Apples originated in Dedham, Massachusetts before 1832 by a Mr. E. M. Richards. The original tree still stood in 1848.
