They are firm, though not firm enough to survive long shipping.
The fruit needs to be picked as soon as it is ripe or the flavour goes off.
The bush is somewhat spreading, growing up to 4 feet (1.2 metres) tall. It needs 5 to 600 hours of cold weather during the winter.
