Elliot are very firm, medium-sized berries with a powder blue colour.
The berry can be blue before its flavour is actually fully ripe. If picked at this stage, they will be slightly tart, without the full flavour that they’ll have if left on the bush a little longer.
The berries grow in loose clusters and have a small, dry scar after picking.
The upright bush provides a late harvest that ripen over a period of 4 to 5 weeks.
Elliot blueberries resist cracking, making them good for the fresh market.
