Grand Falls are oblong, flattened potatoes with smooth, light-buff skin and white flesh.
They are good for processing into starch.
Not currently (2006) being grown commercially.
History Notes
Grand Falls Potatoes were developed by Agriculture Canada in New Brunswick, Canada from a cross between two potatoes referred to as “F48034” and “SSRPB1682C (1).”
During development, the potato was referred to as “F5609.”
