These are floury potatoes.
The plant delivers high yields in a late harvest.
They were marketed as all-purpose for direct to consumer sales.

History Notes
Highlat Russet Potatoes were developed jointly by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the University of Alaska in Dearborn, Alaska, from a cross between two potatoes referred to as “B7680-6” and “B7196-25.”
During development, the potato was referred to as “B8934-2.”
