The plant delivers high yields.
It is not being grown commercially (as of 2006.)

Hunter Potatoes were developed in 1952 by Agriculture Canada at its Fredericton Research Station in New Brunswick, Canada from a cross between two potatoes referred to as “F4823” and “SSRBP834C (29).”
