The flesh is off-white with a tinge of green, and dense, firm, juicy, and aromatic. It has good, sweet flavour.
The fruit ripens in October in England.

Jupiter Apples were developed from a cross between Cox’s Orange Pippin and Starking apples at the East Malling Research Station in Kent, England.
They were introduced in 1966.
