Lamb Chump Roast is an inexpensive cut of lamb from where the loin section meets the rear legs. It has very good flavour. It can be cut into 3 separate cuts, yielding 2 chump chops and 1 chump end for roasting.
It can be sold bone-in or boneless.
Whole boned chump can be rolled into a Lamb “rump roast.” For roasting, it is far tenderer than a beef rump roast would be.
When boned, the round bone is removed, and this provides space for a stuffing if you wish.
