20 August

The 20th of August is Lemonade Day.

Some people can use today as an activity day for children; the rest of us can use it as a day to catch a few hours sitting in the shade and sipping lemonade -- even if it is vodka-spiked for some people.

If you have kids, help them set up and run a lemonade stand for the day, or have a friend around and make up a pitcher together.

Or, if you're just on the run all day, treat a friend to a glass of lemonade somewhere as an excuse for both of you to sit down for 5 minutes.

Learn all about lemons, lemonade and lemon juice today on CooksInfo.com; we even have the skinny on what that "-ade" bit means at the end.
