Mint Sauce Recipe

Note, this is a pouring sauce, not a thick jelly.

Put a kettle of water on to boil.

Meanwhile, chop up your mint leaves, set aside.

In a bowl, stir the brown sugar into the 2 tablespoons of boiling water to dissolve the sugar. Then add the mint leaves, the vinegar, stir again, then just let set for a few hours in fridge or on counter for the flavours to develop.

Recipe notes

For vinegar, use in order of preference: malt vinegar, white wine vinegar, white vinegar.
