They have thick, light green skin with blushes and stripes of orangish-red or red.
Inside they have aromatic, crisp, juicy, greenish-white flesh. The flavour has hints of pear in it.
The fruit ripens late August / early September.

Norkent Apples were developed from a cross between Haralson and Rescue apples done in 1990.
