The bush spreads and needs pruning. It only requires about 150 hours of cold weather during the winter, so can basically be treated as an evergreen bush.
Sharpblue blueberries deliver a mid-season harvest and are being grown in Australia and Florida.
They are patent-free.
History Notes
Sharpblue blueberries were developed by Dr Ralph Sharpe and Dr Wayne Sherman on a farm belonging to a Mr Arthur Elliott. They were released in 1974 by the Florida Agricultural Experiment Station.
