Snowcap Beans grow on a pole-type bean plant that grows up to 5 feet (1 ½ metres) tall.
Snowcap Beans are a member of the cranberry bean family.
One side of the beans is tan coloured, the other side is cream-coloured.
When cooked, Snowcap Beans keep their colouring, and have a smooth texture.
Cooking Tips
Simmer soaked Snowcap Beans for 2 hours; pressure-cook soaked beans for 20 to 25 minutes.
