Yellow Bartlett Pears have a traditional pear shape, with green skin turning to yellow as it ripens. These should be picked just as the skin turns to a lighter green.
The taste and texture are virtually the same as for Red Bartlett Pears; the only real difference being the skin colour.
The flesh inside has a soft, buttery texture and is very juicy.
