Blue Kuri Squash

Blue Kuri Squash are small squashes with a flattened shape, bluish-grey rind and moderate ribbing.

They grow 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 cm) wide, and weigh about 2 ½ pounds (1.1 kg.)

Inside, they have yellowy-gold, dense flesh with a very sweet taste.

They grow on a vine-type plant, with about 8 squash per plant.

Cooking Tips

Peel. Cooking flesh by steaming, simmering, microwaving or baking.

Storage Hints

Stores and stands up to shipping well.

Blue Kuri Squash were developed in Japan.
