Cherry Limeade Recipe
A classic Mid-West American drink.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle lemon-lime flavored soft drink such as 7-up or Sprite 2 litres
- Juice from 1 10 oz jar of maraschino cherries
- 1 Lime
Instructions
- Empty the concentrated limeade into a large pitcher. Mix in the soft drink, and cherry juice, and the juice from the lime.
- Chill, serve on ice garnished with lime slices and a few maraschino cherries.
Notes
For extra tart, add another can (or portion thereof) of concentrated limeade to taste. Needs to be served immediately because of the carbonation. Additional flavour / colouring can be achieved with a small amount of grenadine.
