Nice served with side salad, bread and a glass of wine for a simple meal.
If starting with canned chickpeas, drain and rinse them first. If you have cooked your own chickpeas, drain them (save and freeze the broth for a future use!) You may wish to top the servings of the chickpeas off with fresh tomato slices, chopped green, red or plain onion, or any fresh herbs you have to hand. Also nice with a squirt of lemon juice.
