Inside, they have crisp, juicy flesh with a good, fruity flavour, though some people find the flavour a bit tart for them.
The tree starts bearing fruit when young, and is relatively winter hardy. It is a reliable bearer but can, though, can occasionally drop its fruit before harvest time.
