Dried Cherries are usually made from Sour Cherries.

Wisconsin now exports Dried Cherries to the UK, where you can buy them in Sainsbury's (2004.)

Cooking Tips

You can treat them like raisins, either eating them out of hand as a snack, or cooking with them.

Substitutes

Raisins, Currants, Dried Cranberries.



Storage Hints

Store in sealed container in cool place for up to 6 months, or longer if you refrigerate.
