They have pale yellowish skin with red and light-red stripes, sometimes nearly completely covered in dark red.
Inside, they have off-white, finely-textured, firm, juicy, crisp flesh that is aromatic, with a mild taste.
The fruit ripens late August.
The tree needs to be a bit older than many other cultivars of apple trees before it will start bearing fruit.
