Bluegold Blueberries

Bluegold are very firm, light-blue, medium-sized blueberries.

They store well after picking.

The cold hardy bush spreads out to 4 feet (1.2 metres) and produces high yields. Bluegold Blueberries ripen all at once and can be mechanically harvested.

History Notes

Bluegold Blueberries were developed by A.D. Draper of the USDA-ARS at the USDA’s Beltsville, Maryland facilities. Released in 1988 jointly by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and by its New Jersey Agricultural Experimental Station.
