The flesh is crisp, greenish-white and has a bittersweet taste. It is a favourite of cider-makers.
History Notes
Dabinett was developed in the Martock-Kingsbury area of Somerset, England. It’s probable that it was the off-spring of the Chisel Jersey apple. It was probably named for its first grower.
