Flor de Mayo Beans are plump, oval beans with straight sides.
They are maroonish-brown in colour, with a white spot on the side and a darker brown ring around the white spot. They have some lighter brown mottling on them.
Flor de Mayo Beans are becoming very popular in Mexico (as of 2005.)
Language Notes
The name Flor de Mayo means “Flower of May” in Spanish.
