The upright bush is somewhat self-fertile, but gives better yields with another variety to cross-pollinate with.
Garden Blue blueberries are suitable for a mid-season harvest.
History Notes
Garden Blue blueberries were developed by F. E. Correll and G. W. Schneider of Department of Horticultural Science, University of North Carolina, and by D. H. Scott of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
They were released in 1958.
