Nickel Beans

Nickel Beans are filet type stringless green beans.

The deep green pods are 4 inches (10 cm) long by ¼ inch (½ cm) wide

Nickel Beans can be harvested in one or two pickings, because the beans are all ready in a short harvest window of about a week.

Each plant, a bush-type bean plant, will produce about ¼ pound (115 g) of green beans; 45 to 55 days from seed.

Cooking Tips

Cook Nickel Beans briefly.

History Notes
