Pineapple Mint grows up to 60 cm (24 inches ) tall.
It is an attractive looking mint, with variegated green and white fuzzy leaves with uneven edges.
Some stems will come up with green leaves. If you are growing this as an ornamental, these should be pruned off or they may come to dominate the plant.
It blossoms with white flowers.
It is not as aggressive as other mints.
When the leaves are very young, some people think they detect a pineapple fragrance sometimes if they rub the leaves in their hands.
The leaves are slow to wilt when harvested, so they are good for garnishes.
Storage Hints
Pineapple Mint does not dry well at all.
