Pristine Apples

Pristine Apples have thin, smooth, glossy light yellow skin, and crisp, juicy flesh with a sweet and tart taste.

The fruit ripens in August. It may drop off the tree when it is ripe, so multiple pickings are needed.

History Notes

Pristine Apples were developed by the cooperative program of Purdue, Rutgers and Illinois Universities (PRI) from a cross between Camuzat apples and an experimental apple named “Co Op 10.”
