Skinner’s Seedling Apples

Skinner’s Seedling are large-sized apples.

They have greenish-yellow skin with pale red or pink stripes.

Inside, they have white, finely-textured, tender, juicy flesh with good flavour.

Good for fresh-eating, sauce or other cooking.

History Notes

Skinner’s Seedling Apples originated in Santa Clara, California. Introduced 1887.

The apple was grown commercially in Northern California at the start of the 1900s.
