Vistabella Apples

Vistabella Apples have light-green smooth, glossy skins with dark red and pink blushes. The apples ripen very early and are ready to harvest at the end of July or the beginning of August.They are fresh-eating apples with crisp, juicy white flesh which is tart with some sweetness. Some feel it doesn’t have a lot of taste, but that it’s as good a, if not better than, other early apples.

The flesh of a Vistabella Apple will start to soften within 3 days of picking.

The tree tends to be less productive every other year.

Vistabella Apples are currently being grown in America and Australia.

History Notes

Vistabella Apples were developed in America and are a descendant of a variety of apples that include July Red, Williams Early Red, and Starr. Vistabella Apples were introduced in 1974.
