White Peppermint

White Peppermint has milder heat than black peppermint. It is a perennial mint, growing 1 1/2 to 3 feet (1/2 to 1 metre) tall. It flowers late summer with light purplish-pink blossoms.

It has leaves lighter than Black Peppermint because Black Peppermint has “anthocyanines” in it.

The flavour comes through whether dried, used in cooking or used raw.

Can be used as you would any mint.

In Australia, it is regarded as a weed in Victoria and Western Australia.
