Fish Batter Recipe

A classic, no-fail batter for fish.

  • Mix flour and salt.
  • Mix baking soda and vinegar.
  • Stir vinegar mixture and water into flour mixture. Beat until smooth.
  • Dip prepared fish pieces into batter, allowing excess batter to drip back into the bowl.
  • Fry 3 minutes. Turn fish once until brown.
