AC Stampede Russet Potatoes

AC Stampede Russet Potatoes are oblong, with russetted skin, and white flesh.

They were developed for the French Fry processing market, and for table use.

For table use, they are marketed as a potato for both boiling and baking.

History Notes

AC Stampede Russet Potatoes were developed in partnership by the Texas A & M University and the Government of Canada through its Agiculture Canada Research Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta in 1980, from a cross between Lemhi Russet Potatoes and a potato referred to as BR7091-1.

Released 1998.
