They will weigh 4 to 5 pounds (1.8 to 2.2 kg.)
Inside, they have juicy light orange or pink flesh, with an intense, spicy flavour. They don’t, however, have the taste of bananas, whatever a seed catalogue might say.
They will be sweet if allowed to fully ripen, and if they have good, hot weather while growing.
They are not very aromatic before being cut open.
