Beckyblue are firm blueberries that can be mechanically harvested for the fresh market.
The bush needs 300 to 400 hours of cold weather during the winter.
Beckyblue blueberries bloom quite early, so sometimes the blossoms can get frost damaged.
History Notes
Beckyblue blueberries were released in 1977 by the Florida Agricultural Experimental Station.
