Bounty Potatoes

History Notes

Bounty Potatoes were developed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) at its Agricultural Experimental Station in Lincoln, Nebraska, from a cross between two potatoes referred to as “North Dakota-136” and “Nebraska 217.43-1.”

Released 1960.
