Caserta Zucchini has yellowish-green skin with lighter green striping.
It can grow up to 8 inches (20 cm) long, but is best harvested when 5 to 6 inches (13 to 15 cm) long.
Inside, the flesh is off-white.
The plant is a semi-open bush type.
From planting to harvest, 41 to 57 days.
History Notes
Caserta Zucchini was released 1949 by the University of Connecticut. It was later used as a parent for Black Beauty Zucchini and Storr’s Green Hybrid Zucchini.
