Chesnok Red Purple Stripe Garlic

The large bulbs of Chesnok Red Purple Stripe Garlic have white skin with purple stripes. The easy-to-peel bulb skin gets thicker and tighter as you peel it and approach the cloves.

There will be 5 to 10 large cloves per bulb, that have easy-to-peel white skin with purple flushes.

The taste of the garlic lasts in the mouth.

The garlic belongs to the Purple Stripe sub-group of hardneck garlic.

Cooking Tips

The cloves hold their flavour and shape well in cooking.

Storage Hints

Stores for up to 6 months.

History Notes

Chesnok Red Purple Stripe Garlic possibly originated in the Republic of Georgia (the Asian country.) There it is called “Shvelisi.”
