Dazoc Potatoes

Dazoc Potatoes have dark red skin.

They are harvested early in the season.

They were developed in the late 1940s / early 1950s.

History Notes

Dazoc Potatoes were developed jointly by the University of Nebraska and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Agricultural Experimental Station in Lincoln, Nebraska from a cross between Triumph potatoes and a potato referred to as “Nebraska 49.40-3.”

Released 1953.
