Dutch Premiere is a new potato variety with yellow flesh.

The plant is a good producer.

A boiling potato that is also good for making chips from. Stays firm when cooked.

History Notes

Dutch Premiere Potatoes were developed in the Netherlands. Introduction into the UK started during the late 1980s. Growth in popularity was hurt in 2003 when some seed potatoes brought in from the Netherlands were found to harbour “Potato Brown Rot”.
