Garboncito Beans

Garboncito Beans look somewhat like garbanzo beans (aka “chickpeas”), thus their name which means “small garbanzo.”

They are small, mostly round though somewhat oval, white, with a white raised ridge around them.

In no other aspect, though, are Garboncito Beans like garbanzos.

Cook as you would Pinto Beans or Navy Beans.

Garboncito Beans have a mild flavour, and a creamy texture when cooked.

They make good refried beans.

Substitutes

Navy Beans.
