Gold Keeper Pumpkins have dark orange skin that is a bit rough with moderate ribbing, and yellowish-orange flesh.
Their shape varies a good deal, and their weight ranges from 6 to 12 pounds (2.7 to 5 ½ kg.)
They are grown for commercial processing into pumpkin purée.
They are excellent in pies, and for use as a vegetable squash.
Vine-type plant; 100 days from seed.
