Hampton Potatoes

Hampton are round, large-sized potatoes with light-buff skin and white flesh.

They are marketed as all-purpose for direct to consumer sales.

History Notes

Hampton Potatoes were developed at Cornell University in Itahca, New York from a cross between two potatoes referred to as “NY48” and “NY51.”

During development, the potato was referred to as “Q54-15.”

Released 1985.
