Hertha Potatoes are oval, with smooth yellow skin and pale yellow flesh.
They are marketed as all-purpose for direct to consumer sales and for processing into French Fries (aka chips in the UK.)
History Notes
Hertha Potatoes were developed in 1968 by P. & J. Dijkhuis in Warfhuizen, The Netherlands, from a cross between two potatoes referred to as “DH 61-133-3” and “KO 62-374.”
