Howden Biggie are tall, Jack-O’-Lantern type pumpkins, with a hard, rich orange rind with moderate ribbing.

They have thick, green, firmly-attached but short handles, and a thick flesh wall.

They will grow to be 18″ (45 cm) wide by 26″ (65 cm) high, weighing 35 to 60 pounds (16 to 27 kg.)

The plant produces very long vines.

115 days from seed.

Protected Variety Plant.

History Notes

Howden Biggie Pumpkins were developed by a John Howden at Howden Farm in Sheffield, Massachusetts, USA.

Released 1991.
