Howdens Field Pumpkins

Howdens Field are uniformly-sized, Jack-O’-Lantern type pumpkins, with a hard, moderately-ribbed, rich orange rind, and thick flesh walls.

They will weigh 25 to 30 pounds (11 to 13 ½ kg.)

Despite their size, they have good enough flavour to be used for commercial processing or for pies. They can also be used as an ornamental.

115 days from seed.

Howdens Field Pumpkins were developed by a John Howden at Howden Farm in Sheffield, Massachusetts, USA.
