Several agencies now list it as a threatened fish.
It is omnivorous and lives around reefs throughout the Indian and Pacific Oceans.
Humphead wrasse can live up to 30 years and grow up to 400 pounds (180 kg.)
At about 5 years old, it will be 14 to 20 inches(35 to 50 cm) long, and start to spawn.
The fish can switch sex from female to male.
