International Kidney are the same potatoes which are grown in Jersey and marketed under the name of “Jersey Royal.”

They are long, oval potatoes with yellow skin and flesh.

These are waxy potatoes that hold their shape very well after cooking.

Early harvest.

Cooking Tips

Best just boiled or steamed in their skins, and then either served with butter, or used in salads.

History Notes

International Kidney Potatoes were developed in 1879 in Scotland.
