Jemseg are uniformly-sized potatoes, oblong but slightly flattened, with buff skin and white flesh.

They are marketed as all-purpose for direct to consumer sales.
History Notes
Jemseg Potatoes were developed by Agriculture Canada at its Fredericton Research Station in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada in 1967 from a cross between Sable potatoes and a potato referred to as “F55069.”
During development, it was referred to as “F67072.”
Released 1978.
