Lamb Leg Roast (Frenched Style)

Lamb Leg Roast (American Style) is a whole hind leg of lamb. The sirloin section at the top is removed.

The shank bone is left on, and a small amount of meat trimmed off to expose at last an inch (2 ½ cm) of the shank bone.

This exposure of the bone makes it “Frenched.”

It will weigh between 5 to 9 pounds (2 ½ to 4 kg.)
