Latona are oval, large, uniformly-sized potatoes. They have smooth yellow skin with some rough patches, and pale yellow flesh.
They are marketed as all-purpose for direct to consumer sales.
History Notes
Latona Potatoes were developed in 1981 by G. & P. van der Zee, ZPC company in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands from a cross between Jaerla and Nicola potatoes.
